Kernow BSLM is a regional group of the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine (BSLM).
Founded in 2019 by Dr Anna Charlton (Huette), our BSLM Regional Director, the group has gone from strength to strength. At our first meeting we were 8 enthusiasts around Anna’s dining table, and we now have over 150 members from across health and social care, and many Special Interest sub-groups.
As a group, we advocate for evidence-based lifestyle choices and share resources, inspiration, evidence and support to de-medicalise chronic ill-health and nurture Health Creation in Cornwall and beyond. We always welcome new members.
This is our 6th conference based around the ‘pillars of lifestyle medicine’, which include sleep, nutrition, movement, stress management, avoidance of risky substances and social connectedness. Our aim is to enable individuals to feel in control of their own health and well-being.
